Mixtape Magazine

Mixtape Magazine is the first and only hip-hop music and culture magazine at Syracuse University. Our first issue was released Spring 2016 and since then we've grown to be one of the most popular magazines on campus. I am responsible for the complete magazine layout, general design, art direction and managing a team of artists and designers. Credit for all artwork and photography can be found in the magazine.

Being apart of Mixtape has taught me how to collaborate with other artists and designers, make executive decisions under tight deadlines, visually communicate other executive team member's ideas, format and prepare documents for printing and understand the minute details required for publication design.
